ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I have been playing and studing the guitar for over eighteen years in Cuba, Italy and
the UK. Since the last five years I have been teaching the guitar with great success in
the UK. I am fluent in Spanish and Italian as well as having an excellent command of
the English language.
I am classically trained to a very high standard, being part of the “The Cuban Classical
School of Guitar”. As well as been a very experienced Electric Guitarist, playing music
of all genres. I am also trained in Jazz/Blues guitar at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
I have many private students of all ages from year 2 to year 13, as well as adults and I
also have been teaching for the last four years with a great amount of success at the
Primary School in Buckinghamshire (see Employment History) where I teach around
thirty students, and I have recently started teaching at the Secondary Schools in
Buckingshire. I also teach to many students of all ages as a private Guitar Tutor on
my local area.
I assess the progress of each student as well as planning for their individual needs and
I give constant feedback to the parents and the staff involved with my work. As well
as meeting regulary with my Music Co-ordinator to update her own their progress.
I also welcome to the opportunity to arrange show-cases for the students under my
tutelage. I also run an extra curriculum(an after school activities)a music group
“The Melody Club” an idea that I created and developed with my students and the
music Co-ordinator of Long Crendon to enhance and enrich the music life and
activities of the School.
During the course of my employment as a Music Tutor I attend meetings regularly
and any professional development days that are required.
I am extremly flexible, having my own reliable transport and beeing willing to
commute to any where.
I am passionate about promoting the Instrumental teaching in the Schools for all
children as I belive it benefits young people to master a skill and teach controll and
discipline in an indirect way.
Please make free to contact me to arrange an interview. I am looking forward to make
a major contribution to further raising the quality of the learning and teaching of your
School.
