Digbeth hosts Birmingham’s biggest Music Festival bringing together a large variety of independent musical styles and cultures.

Gigbeth, Birmingham’s biggest celebration of music, returns to Digbeth this November. Boasting a 2008 line up of A-list artists from a wide range of musical genres, Gigbeth is taking place as Birmingham’s very own Music Festival.

Gigbeth 2008 music festival will take place from 7th-8th November throughout Digbeth in Birmingham. Gigbeth 2008 has something for all music loving members of the public, with top draw artists from many genres and a line up that will see established favorites join the newest rising stars.

With performances in over 10 venues throughout the entire weekend, alongside an outdoor main stage at Millennium Point, Gigbeth 2008 is Birmingham’s biggest ever music festival.
Tickets are priced at £15 for Friday, £18 for Saturday, or £25 for the entire weekend. Ticket are available by ringing the official Gigbeth Box Office on (0121) 202 5000.

Gigbeth 2008 will also see a pre festival music conference on November 6th. Key industry figures will be speaking on issues surrounding the music and events industry. full details of the Gigbeth 2008 conference will be announced soon.

Previous Gigbeth festivals have seen artists such as Dirty Pretty Things, The Raconteurs, Nizlopi and Boy Kill Boy take centre stage, supported by many acts, including The Twang, Scott Matthews and Envy & Other Sins, who have now become headliners themselves.

Gigbeth organisers have already selected a series of local up and coming artists to play alongside the confirmed internationally renowned headline artists, giving our home grown talent a chance to perform alongside some of the industries most familiar faces.

Various headline rumors appealing to all genres are being discussed, but although the lineup has not been released Gigbeth 2008 promises to be a huge event for the city of Birmingham.
