Bob made me a thinline telecaster a couple of years ago - just the most beautiful musical instrument you ever saw. This man is a genius - and a nice bloke too.
After years of searching for the big brother 12 string to my 1987 six string Washburn acoustic. I finally found one in the States on ebay. When it arrived it had been smashed in transit, so you can imagine just how gutted I was. After searching the net for someone to hopefully repair it, I came across a bloke called Bob Barry he sounded o.k so I rang him. I explained the damage to the guitar and he said he did’nt see it being a problem to fix. I took the guitar to him and after his inspection he confirmed he could fix it. I asked to what level of “good as new” could I expect. So he showed me some of his repairs he was carrying out, let’s just say I knew I had found the man. As soon as he said it was ready to collect I went the next day. The guitar was like new, the cracked paint, the badly dented body, the lifted top and the cracked varnish all gone, you would not know it has been damaged. Bob is a Gentleman and a true craftsman..a genius. He repairs, builds, sets up and customises guitars…If you need a job doing THIS IS THE MAN !!! . You won’t find a nicer bloke…… Thanks Bob.
Bob did a brilliant job of refurbishing my guitar recently. He is a seriously nice guy and does great things when it comes to repairing guitars! Plus the guitars he makes himself look nothing but superb.
I would recommend him to anyone!
