I'm Mark, I run an independent record label called Iron Man Records, which is based in Birmingham England. I set up the Birmingham Music Network, and I organised gigs in Birmingham for over ten years as Badger Promotions. I play in a band called Last Under The Sun, Cain and Freestone and another called Police Bastard, I offer tour management and driving to help bands out on tour, and I have done some lecturing at Birmingham City University as part of their Music Industry degree course.

The Music Network this month will be lead by Anthony Hughes and the meeting is open to all on Thursday 26th March 2009 4pm til 6pm at Technology and Innovation Centre(TIC), Millennium Point, Curzon Street, Birmingham, B4 7XG.
Come and talk about music and what you’re up to and meet some new people.
The Music Network organises a NETWORKING EVENT on the last Thursday of each month, for the benefit of music related businesses in the West Midlands region.
If you are a musician, work with musicians, represent musicians, have involvement with the music industry, or are looking to make new contacts the meeting will be useful to you.

- Berlin's Mengenlehrer Uhr or Set Theory Clock was commissioned by the Berlin Senate in 1975 and designed by Dieter Binninger and was originally located at Kurfürstendamm on the corner with Uhlandstraße. It was the first clock, which told the time using illuminated, coloured fields and was even included in the Guinness Book of Records. After it was decommissioned by the Senate in 1995, it was given a new home in Budapester Straße in front of the Europa Center through an initiative brought about by various business people in 1996.
