- John Sinclair (born October 2, 1941 in Flint, Michigan, United States) is a Detroit poet, one-time manager of the band MC5, and leader of the White Panther Party — a militantly anti-racist countercultural group of white Socialists seeking to assist the Black Panthers in the Civil Rights movement — from November 1968 to July 1969.

I'm Mark, I run an independent record label called Iron Man Records, which is based in Birmingham England. I set up the Birmingham Music Network, and I organised gigs in Birmingham for over ten years as Badger Promotions. I play in a band called Last Under The Sun, Cain and Freestone and another called Police Bastard, I offer tour management and driving to help bands out on tour, and I have done some lecturing at Birmingham City University as part of their Music Industry degree course.

The Black Country Music Network is aimed at organisations, business and traders in and around the music industry in the black country. The event aims to provide those attending with a forum for discussion, asking for help and advice, meeting and connecting with new partners and collaborators or just to discover more about their local scene.
