Pledge Music – a site that allows musicians / bands to source funding from fans for a variety of projects whilst also supporting charities. Andy is interested to hear from anyone using this or similar services.
Creative Network returns in September – monthly free networking and special guest speaker event runs on last Thursday of the month from 6pm at TEE, Millennium Point, Birmingham

Tony Guice
Youth centre in Sutton Coldfield – working with young musicians putting on live gigs, studio recording, guitar lessons. Starting to work with Silent Filter promoter.
Looking for potential gig opportunities for his young bands that are appropriate for 16-18 age group. Advised to contact Fierd Wish and Little Wing – both are young bands based in Stourbridge and details are available on the SMN website.

BCU graduate sound engineer and media technology. Music technology composer. Looking for ways of selling music product. Advised to research similar artists and make connections with fan base. Also advised to look at presenting music in different ways such as a podcast where the music is introduced and put in context or as a video with still images matched to the music.

Polish radio show on community radio in Coventry. Looking to spread out and promote live gigs. Advised to research live music venues and find out costs, contact existing promoters and ask them if they want to promote.
